International Project Examples

Atticus staff has supported various international conservation management programs in

Mexico, Ecuador, Costa Rica, the Republic of Congo, Philippines, and Vietnam.

Projects include the assessment, analysis, and long-term monitoring of forests and terrestrial habitats related to carbon capture and ecosystem services conservation (soil protection, vegetation cover, carbon sequestration, species management, and land use).

Often the goals of these programs were to lead the technical projects while developing an effective process and approach; and overall to train, build capacity, and empower local and in-country staff to continue with successful long-term program implementation.
